New language option: Luxembourgish at the European School

As part of the introduction of Luxembourgish as Language 4 in Secondary 4 at the European School Luxembourg I, we had the honour of welcoming Claude Meisch, Minister of National Education, Children and Youth of Luxembourg.
This development reflects the strength of the European Schools system: combining a shared European curriculum with a strong connection to the host country.
Offering Luxembourgish is more than adding a subject — it expresses a clear commitment to deepening our students’ connection with Luxembourg — its language, its culture, and its community — while remaining fully aligned with our European mission.
