The Eurosport Trophy stays in European School Luxembourg 1!
Eurosport is an event that takes place every two years, and it unites all European and accredited schools to compete in various sport disciplines in the spirit of fair competition, respect, friendship, equality, and joy.
The 2024 edition, organized by the European School Luxembourg 2, brought together 18 schools from seven countries. For three days 15 girls and 15 boys selected from our school competed at their highest level, putting all their hearts and energy into football, volleyball, aquathlon and badminton. Even unexpected defeats and injuries, pain and terrible exhaustion did not break their spirits. Their determination, dedication and fight to the very end made it possible to enjoy winning the Eurosport general classification for the third time in a row!
This years‘ victory is exceptional given that our team was only one point ahead of the team from Varese! This shows how tough the competition was and how much fortitude was shown by our athletes.
