As part of the European Schools’ educational framework, students are required to complete at least one of two programmes — Citizenship Action for All (CAAP) or Work Experience (WEX) — by the end of S6, in accordance with document 2024-01-D-33-en-2, Framework for Work Experience (WEX) and Citizenship Action for All Programme (CAAP).

While participation in at least one of these programmes is mandatory, students and their families are strongly encouraged to consider taking part in both. CAAP and WEX provide complementary opportunities to develop social, civic and professional skills, helping students prepare for active citizenship and future professional life.
