The first edition of the inter-European Schools competition, the Speech Olympics, came to a memorable close with its final held in a truly exceptional setting: the Court of Justice of the European Union, to whom we extend our sincere thanks for their generous welcome.
Twenty finalists from five European Schools based in Luxembourg showcased their outstanding public speaking talents, combining conviction, creativity, and linguistic mastery.
The European School Luxembourg I is proud to have organised this event, which celebrates oral expression, active citizenship, and the richness of multilingualism.
We also wish to thank the teachers from the other participating schools – the European School Luxembourg II, the International School Gaston Thorn, the European School of Differdange and Esch-sur-Alzette, and the Lënster Lycée International School – for their valuable collaboration and the excellent preparation of their students.
A special thank you and bravo to the three organising teachers – Ms Pastor, Ms Rexhepi, and Ms Papagianni – for their dedication and the energy they put into making this event a success.
Congratulations to all 20 finalists for the quality of their performances and their commitment throughout the competition!
See you next year for the next edition!
