Individual pupils, guided by a mentor teacher, are encouraged to make a speech of their choice (i.e. Human Rights, Justice, Society, Economy, Education, Mental Health, Environment, Politics, Unity of Europe, etc.)<\/p>\n<p>The speeches will be delivered during the grand finale at the Salle de F\u00eates of the European School Luxembourg 1 and judged by subject experts. Prizes will be awarded for the most outstanding speeches. This preliminary version will serve as the foundation for further elaboration and refinement during the upcoming workshops.<\/p>\n<p>Speeches will be categorized based on pupils\u2019 year levels:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Junior Speeches: S1 \u2013 S3<\/li>\n<li>Senior Speeches: S4 \u2013 S7<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>FOR PUPILS<\/h4>\n<p><strong>WORKSHOPS<\/strong>: At your own School.<\/p>\n<h5>Grand finale, Salle de F\u00eates, European School Luxembourg I.<\/h5>\n<h5>Date: Monday, 16<sup>th<\/sup> March.<\/h5>\n<p><strong>Languages: L2 language <\/strong>(English, French or German).<\/p>\n<h4>Here are the rules:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>No reading<\/strong>: Speeches must be delivered without reliance on notes.<\/li>\n<li>Additionally, participants will be asked to sign a <strong>document granting permission<\/strong> during workshops, for various purposes such as inclusion of photos in a book and video recordings.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Speech delivery:<\/strong> Each speech may last a <strong>maximum of 5 minutes<\/strong>.
