Polish Section<\/h3>\n

The polish Section organized a Easter Breakfast and it was a total success. Children were preparing and distributing food-boxes during the day to the classes. \u00a0During the teachers’ break the boxes were being sold in the staff room and both teachers and administration staff chipped in. All boxes were sold! In total 750 euros<\/strong> were raises. The parents of the Polish section have chosen two organizations which will be granted the money. Thank you so much for your support.<\/p>\n

Cet apr\u00e8s-midi, nous avons pu nous rendre dans les locaux de stockage de l\u2019association LUkraine avec nos coffres bien remplis gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 vous !<\/p>\n

Un autre voyage est pr\u00e9vu lundi apr\u00e8s l\u2019\u00e9cole donc si vous n\u2019avez pas encore eu le temps de participer et que vous le souhaitez, n\u2019h\u00e9sitez pas \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Sachez \u00e9galement qu\u2019ils acceptent les dons spontan\u00e9s et individuels. Pour cela, il suffit de vous rendre derri\u00e8re l\u2019h\u00f4pital Schuman dans la rue Joseph Leydenbach et de suivre ce panneau :<\/p>\n

L\u00e0-bas, les b\u00e9n\u00e9voles nous ont expliqu\u00e9 que tous vos dons allaient \u00eatre tri\u00e9s en une dizaine de cat\u00e9gories. Ils en font ensuite des palettes qu\u2019ils chargent dans des camions qui centralisent tout sur la plate-forme principale du pays et ensuite, ils se rendent vers diff\u00e9rentes destinations et une partie des dons est conserv\u00e9e pour les r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s arrivant au Luxembourg.<\/p>\n

Dutch Section<\/h3>\n

In March the students of the Dutch section brought in ‘long shelf life’ products. The children brought in a lot of products and we needed a large car to bring it all to the collection point near Kirchberg Hospital.<\/p>\n

Kingsday is traditionally celebrated on the 27th<\/sup>\u00a0of April in The Netherlands. One of the activities is a free market in the streets. The Dutch section held their free market in the playground of the school. Students sold little toys, books etc. There were also games to play. The free market was well visited and the collected amount of money, \u20ac1469,53 was donated to the people of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Portuguese Section<\/h3>\n

The Religion and Morals classes of P3, P4 and P5 of the Portuguese section, made necklaces, bracelets, key chains, watches… to raise money that will revert in favor of Ukraine, through Caritas.<\/p>\n

The sale took place on Friday, April 29, at the main entrance of the primary school,<\/p>\n

With the sale of the children’s work, we made 1410,63 Euros.<\/p>\n

Deutschsprachige Sektion<\/h3>\n

Unter dem Motto \u201eWir laufen f\u00fcr den Frieden in Europa\u201c fand am Freitag, den 18. M\u00e4rz 2022 der Spendenlauf der deutschsprachigen Sektion des Kindergartens und der Grundschule statt.<\/p>\n

Sowohl sportlich w\u00e4hrend des Laufs, als auch im Vorfeld beim Sammeln der Spenden haben sich alle Kinder stark engagiert und so zum erfolgreichen Gelingen der Aktion beigetragen. Es kam die stolze Summe von 12.395,00 Euro zusammen!<\/p>\n

In diesem Betrag waren auch \u00fcber 1.100,00 Euro der franz\u00f6sischsprachigen Sektion enthalten, die unser Vorhaben mit ihrer Spende unterst\u00fctzt hat.<\/p>\n

Ein Teil des Gesamtbetrages wurde an UNICEF Luxemburg gespendet. Der andere Teil der Spenden wurde von der Elternvertretung der Klassen P4 DEa und DEb an den Verein LUKRAINE ASBL \u00fcberreicht. Damit konnte unsere Schulgemeinschaft den ukrainischen Menschen ihre Solidarit\u00e4t bekunden.<\/p>\n

Ein gro\u00dfes Dankesch\u00f6n an alle Kinder, Eltern und Lehrer und die Schulleitung, \u00a0die den Spendenlauf der deutschsprachigen Sektion so tatkr\u00e4ftig unterst\u00fctzt haben!<\/p>\n
