Solidarity Study Olympics

Would you like to help girls victims of war in Congo to get psychological and psychiatric support? Study or be creative.

For the fifth year, Actions Sans Frontières with the support of the European School Administration, organize the Solidarity Study Olympics, alongside other schools in different European countries. This year we added a new activity.

To participate in this project the students commit themselves to study during their free periods in order to help girls, victims of war in the Congo, to get psychological and psychiatric support.

OPTION 1: to study

  • From the 25th of February until the 25th of March the students who want to participate register with the educational advisors and spend their free periods studying, doing their homework or reading their class books, in the designated areas. Participation is voluntary and free of charge.
  • For each hour of study, 1 euro will be donated for psychological and psychiatric support to girls, victims of war in the Congo.

OPTION 2: to be creative

  • Students look for information about war in the Congo and its victims. During their free time (at school or at home), they do something creative on that topic.
  • Participation is free of charge, but for every hour spent on the project 1 euro will be donated for the psychological and psychiatric support of girls, victims of war in the Congo.

In 2019 we achieved 419 hours of study = 419 euros for Talibé children in Senegal.

This activity is organized by Actions Sans Frontières in conjunction with the European School Administration for all students in the Secondary School.
