Dear parents,
As promised, we keep you updated on the duration of the suspension of courses in situ.
Following the decision taken by the Luxembourg Government Council on 1st April, 2020, all schools in Luxembourg will remain closed until 3rd May, 2020 included. As already communicated in our update from 9th March, 2020, “in case national authorities of the hosting Member State do foresee stricter rules for national educational institutions, these rules shall also be applied by the European Schools”.
Therefore, all courses in situ will continue to be suspended for a fourth and fifth week (20th April until 1st May inclusive). Teaching and learning at a distance will continue after the Easter holidays.
We will continue to keep you informed about any new evolution. A more detailed communication will follow in the next days. We would like to thank you for your close cooperation and your support during this exceptional and challenging period.
Kind regards
The School Management
