Visit of HRH Prince Guillaume to the European school

On Monday 17th January HRH Prince Guillaume visited the European school to present the Merite Jeunesse award to staff and students.

The Prince was accompanied by Adeline Krausch (Merite Jeunesse coordinator Luxembourg) and George Metz (director of National Youth Service).

The visit was organized jointly by the APEEE and the School with the aim of raising the profile of the award within our establishment and to improve staff involvement.

The highlight of the evening was a presentation given by current Gold award students - Bernhard Leistner, Renate Leistner, Maeve Moayedi, Alice Courlander, Lauren Barwise and Isabelle Ward.
The presentation was given in English, French and German and outlined the benefits and experiences of completing the award.

Anyone who is interested in becoming involved in the award should contact the APEEE or Jon Mallon.
